Informational use only

Camera records can be missing, outdated, duplicated, misplaced, or incorrectly tagged. A displayed marker does not guarantee that equipment is active, and the absence of a marker does not prove that no Flock or other ALPR camera exists. Do not rely on this site for emergency decisions, personal safety, law-enforcement operations, precise navigation, legal deadlines, or any decision that requires a complete real-time source.

No route-evasion or unlawful use

The product is provided to understand public documentation and inspect its evidence. You may not use the service to facilitate unlawful conduct, evade lawful enforcement, interfere with equipment, trespass, harass operators or property owners, or create a safety hazard. Do not approach equipment from a roadway or restricted area. Use public records and safe observation methods instead.

Sources, licensing, and attribution

Camera-location data is derived from OpenStreetMap and is subject to the Open Database License, ODbL 1.0. Map attribution remains visible in the product. Census boundary data and linked government materials remain subject to their applicable terms. The current MVP does not provide a bulk location export. Any future bulk distribution would require a separate ODbL share-alike and attribution review.

Independent project

ALPR Camera Map is not affiliated with, operated by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Flock Safety. Flock Safety and related names may be trademarks of their owners and are used descriptively. A manufacturer classification reports the evidence present in the public source; it is not a warranty or statement by the manufacturer.

Third-party services and links

The site may use or link to OpenStreetMap, MapTiler, Geoapify, Google Street View, government sites, and other third-party resources. Their content, availability, accuracy, and data practices are controlled by their operators. A link does not imply endorsement. Review their current terms and privacy policies before using those services.

Reports and contributions

An issue report is a request for review, not an automatic correction and not a promise that a record will change. Missing-camera contributions are made upstream through OpenStreetMap and must follow that community's rules. Do not add a manufacturer based only on appearance, a nearby object, or speculation. See the methodology and contribution guidance.

Availability and changes

The service may be changed, suspended, rate limited, or withdrawn. We may update these terms when the product, providers, or legal requirements change and will revise the effective date for a substantive change. These terms do not waive rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be waived. Because the site is still in local prelaunch review, no production service-level commitment is offered.
